Quality Analyst Lead

We are looking for an experienced QA Lead with a strong background in automation and manual testing to lead our QA team. The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 5+ years in automation testing and 3+ years in team leadership. You will be responsible for developing test strategies, managing test execution, ensuring product quality, and mentoring a team of testers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the QA team, ensuring high-quality standards for software products and applications.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure software meets all functional, performance, and security requirements.
  • Manage schedules and resource allocation for the QA team to align with project/product timelines.
  • Identify and remedy defects early in the development cycle through rigorous testing strategies.
  • Implement and monitor automated test scripts to assess functionality, reliability, and performance.
  • Enhance automation frameworks and optimize test execution cycles.
  • Ensure best practices in automation testing are followed across teams.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers, fostering skill development.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to improve software quality.
  • Draft and maintain QA policies, standards, and documentation.
  • Investigate customer complaints and product issues, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulatory requirements and quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in quality assurance.
  • 5+ years of experience in automation testing.
  • 2+ years of experience leading a QA team.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing test automation frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium, Katalon Studio, JMeter, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of test frameworks (Data-Driven, Keyword-Driven, Hybrid-Driven).
  • Experience in functional, performance, regression, and security testing.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage and mentor the QA team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve software issues.
  • Ability to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a sharp eye for bugs and defects.

Good to Have

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with API testing tools like Postman.
  • Understanding of cloud-based testing and containerized applications.
  • Exposure to AI-based testing tools and techniques.
  • Strong Linux command-line skills for server-side testing.
